Must Have A1 Beginner 3d Print Upgrades

I Recently got the A1 3d Printer from Bambu. It's one of the cheapest high-quality, beginner freindly 3D printers on the market. It has a huge community of people printing additinal parts for this machine, So naturally, when I finished assembling it,

I got pretty carried away. and started printing, what i consider, the 10 must have assesoriess fro the Bambu A1.

Before we Start

Now PLA is harmless, and it shouldn’t cause any bad health problems. but it’s probably a good idea to print with a window open or like me grab yourself an air purifer of some kind (link in description to the one i use).

I'll start with the simpler upgrades and work my way to the more complex ones. (well what i consider complex, (Give me a break im a newbie at this) I’ll put all the links to the STL files in the description below. Alright, Let's make this quick.

Poop Container

First thing on the agenda is a poop container. This thing flings poop everywhere so natrually I went for a compact poop container which is extreemly easy to attach and remove from the printer.

Now the poop is contained let’s move onto the Timelapse module. I shoot with Sony cameras and If you have a Sony RMT-DSLR2 remote controller, you can create beautiful timelapses by simply installing this module onto your Bambulab A1 here. You have to take off the old bracket and relpace it with this one which is pretty straight forward to do. Also lube up the button so it doen’t jam up. learned this the hard way. Now the printer head will trigger the remote and make these cool timelapses.

The Scraper

I used this beautiful scraper way more than I thought I would. I keep it nearby so it's always there when you need it. You should too.

Aligner

Next up I Printed this little clip on to the right rear corner of the A1 heatbed to help align the build plate. This build plate aligner prints in 20 minutes and uses less than five grams of filament.

Upadte: the nozzle will hit the build plate aligner after the third layer and cause an error, causing the print to stop. So until a new design to compensate for this is available, probably best to avoid for now. Any of you with a better solution, do me a solid, and mention it in the comments. love you in advance.

Fan Cover

Next up to keep from jamming my finger in the cooling fan i decided to print this simple yet practical fan cover for the A1 and A1 Mini. went fro a nice matte black filiment for the rest of these prints too.

Nozzle Hanger

I printed a little hook to hang a spare nozzle in the A1 printer's frame. perfect to store my 0.2 nozzle.

Screen Cover

To protect from dust and dim the bright LCD screen, I went with this simple design that works perfectly. Oh, and now seems like a good time to name my printer too.

Cable clip

Not A fan on how the cable went everywhere when the toolhead moved along the Z-axis. This guide leads the cable flat alongside the printer.

The toolhead can move freely up and down without detaching and reaches maximum height with no problems.

The simple design prints quickly, and all corners are rounded to prevent cable damage.

Easy to install and remove!

Simply flatten the cable and snug it into place.

Swatch Plate

I wasn't a fan of the string attachments that came with the filament swatches either, so I printed this Swatch Display Board by Bambu Lab. I only need the matte and basic filaments on hand right now, and these cards will be easier to store.

Toolbox

This one took the longest to print but it's probably my favorite. This cool tool storage box is specifically designed for the tools that come with Bambu Lab printers. It features a modern design that provides awesome organization for all your tool parts, keeping your workspace tidy and efficient. Went for a yellow interior to switch it up a bit too.

Filament clip

I've seen quite a few filament clips on makerworld, but I wanted to try this one since it looked like the best option. It keeps unused filament tidy and prevents it from getting tangled. Prints in like 20 minute too.

All right, so those are all the upgrades I've added to my Bambu A1 Pro in the first month of owning it. The thing is, this video took so long to edit that I've already started thinking about more upgrades. If you guys have any suggestions, please comment them below. If I get enough upgrades, maybe I'll make a part two!

That's pretty much everything
